So many movers are challenged with what to do next due to the coronavirus lockdown.
3 options exist, they can
- Stay put and compare a broad range of remortgage deals, where hopefully they will save money on their monthly outgoings.
- Continue to sell their property and search for a replacement home, ensuring that they have instructed a Sale and purchase Lender Conveyancer so that when offers are made they can progress to exchange of contracts.
- Look for ways to get their current property deal over the line. Some have paused their move as they are worried if they can legally progress with their transaction.
Movers can if they want to make progress with their property transaction. With less people selling the ability to transact fast is on the cards.
The majority of conveyancing Solicitors are getting completions in the current market. They have a pipeline of work that is moving forwards and of course some of their work will be paused. The issue of course is that when the lockdown is lifted the paused Sellers and Buyers will suddenly wake up and the demand will be extremely high for service focused Solicitors such as those on the Homebuyer Conveyancing panel.
It makes sense to instruct a Solicitor now when a transaction can be controlled. The conveyancing price comparison service is available 24/7. Conveyancing Questions can be answered on 0345 463 7664.
What Is Right For You?
It’s a difficult time but be prepared to make your move now or when the lockdown is lifted. Remove any waiting times by returning your Solicitor Instruction paperwork. If you are worried about incurring costs then some Solicitors do offer No Sale - No Fee. On instruction you can check.
Please note that the purchase conveyancing quotes from the Homebuyer Conveyancing members include a search pledge. If your transaction fails through no fault of your own, another set of searches will be supplied for Free up to a value of £300 for your next property. In any market of uncertainty that really does help.
